Ireland beat Scotland in Volleyball for the first time ever in the third match of three in this Celtic Nations Series in Dublin. In the third match Ireland dropped the first set but won the Final three, all by two points. Every point was fought to the death and sets 2 and 3 went to exta points, finishing 28-26 and 31-29 to the Irish. Ireland closed out the win with a hard fought 25-23 victory in the fourth set. Irish stars on the day were Glenn Whelan on the wing and Per Plough up the middle.
